How we check our numbers
Updated 20 October 2026
| What you see | Where it comes from | How often |
|---|---|---|
| IPO dates, price band, lot size, registrar, lead managers | NSE | Every 30 minutes on market days |
| Demand (subscription) by investor type | NSE bid data | Every 30 minutes while the IPO is open |
| Results and listing dates | Worked out from SEBI's T+3 timeline and NSE's holiday list. Marked "expected" until confirmed | Every run |
| Listing gain and latest price | NSE's official end-of-day price file | Every evening |
| Offer documents | SEBI and NSE | Daily |
| Expected gain (GMP) | Public IPO trackers: IPO Watch, then InvestorGain. We show the most recently updated value and name the source and time next to it | Every 6 hours |
| Headlines | News publishers via public RSS feeds. We link to the original article | Twice a day |
When something goes wrong
If a source doesn't respond, we keep the last value we trusted and say it couldn't refresh. We never show an empty table. We also throw out numbers that fail basic checks, such as an expected gain more than three times the share price.
About expected gain (GMP). It comes from unofficial grey-market trading that SEBI doesn't regulate. It changes fast and is often wrong. Treat it as market talk, not a promise.
